Olympic Marina, Lavrion

Lavrio is located 60km southeast of Athens, 30 minutes drive from Athens International Airport. The marina of Lavrio played a crucial role in ancient Greek history and holds a rich cultural heritage. Today this marina is one of the fastest-growing and developing in Greece. It is also a blue flagged marina. The town of Lavrio offers visitors a generous selection of restaurants, bars, and cafeterias. The port hosts ferries, commercial boats, yachts, and fishing boats. It offers berthing for a total of 200 yachts up to 30 meters and it provides facilities such as Electric Power 220 V, fuel and fresh water supply, sewage pumping equipment, vessel maintenance area, bunk lifting, and launching and port police.

Marinas in Glyfada

There are four marinas in Glyfada with a berthing capacity for 750 yachts of different sizes. Glyfada’s marina can berth yachts up to 35 meters according to the depths and entrance of the harbor. As it is administered by Glyfada’s Municipality its facilities and services do not meet the higher requirements, more paperwork is required, however, it is the least expensive. Its proximity to Glyfada’s center, the center of the South Coast of Athens, is an advantage making the marina popular amongst Greeks. For more information regarding facilities please contact the administration office. The harbor is safe as it is located in a residential neighborhood and port police are also in place in the 1st and 4th Marina. Popular seafood restaurants are located near the marinas. The beaches surrounding the Marinas are Blue Flagged.

Astir Marina, Vouliagmeni 

Located on a peninsula in the fancy area of Vouliagmeni, this Marina berths 100 yachts of 45 up to 60 meters. It is located within walking distance of the Four Seasons Hotel, Astir Beach, and elite restaurants like Matsuhisa and Ithaki. Currently, the Marina is undergoing port and land infrastructure works with plans to accommodate 59 super and mega-yachts. At the moment the Marina facilities include electricity and water supply, car parking, helipad, and 24/7 security and CCTV. With the renovations taking place the marina will provide a fuel station for the collection of sewage and oily residue, an underground car park, and an underground bridge to connect the harbor with the Four Seasons Hotel. Also, a modernization of the marina is expected to promote the area even further. 

The best way to get to this marina is by taxi or car.

Agios Kosmas, Elliniko 

Agios Kosmas Marina was built to host the sailing races for the Olympic Games held in Athens in 2004. Since then it has become a harbor berthing up to 300 yachts, a minimum length of 15 meters and a maximum of 80 meters.  It is located next to the suburb of Glyfada, which is the center of Athens South Coast, 15km from the center of Athens, 25km from the Athens International airport, and 12km to the port of Piraeus. The facilities of the Marina meet the standards of those seeking high-quality services. Such facilities include Tender pilot mooring assistance, Helipad, Electric Power 220/380V, and freshwater supply, high-security services,  vacuum sewage system and slipway for trailers, car park. Refueling, technical and diving services are available on a day’s notice.

Alimos Marina

This marina is one of the largest marinas in Athens, accommodating up to 1000 yachts up to 40 meters. Located between the center of Athens and Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos, the Alimos marina is very well situated and easily accessible. Facilities include electricity and water supply, refueling services, VHF communications, security and surveillance around the harbor, and car parking. Other facilities include a seafood restaurant, very popular for good quality of food and fair prices, and another restaurant bar serving Greek food and live music every weekend.

Flisvos Marina, Palaio Faliro  

Located in Palaio Faliro, 6km north of Athens Center, Marina Flisvos has been designed into a modern harbor, catering to those with high demands. Amenities including private parking, a bus, and a tram stop makes the marina accessible to those who prefer traveling by car/taxi or by public transportation. Flisvos Marina berths small to large yachts and is one of the safest in Athens as it is 24/7 surveilled by security, CCTV, controlled vehicle entrance and there is a police port office. Other amenities include Electric power 220 / 380 V, 32-630 Amps, potable water, mooring, and technical assistance, fuel station, helipad, and car parking. Moreover, the structure of the Marina offers facilities for running, cycling, swimming and water sports, as the waters are pretty clean.

There are also restaurants, cafes, bars and shops located in the Marina which makes it a popular attraction for the Athenians.

Athens Marina, New Faliro

This Marina has been designed to accommodate mega-yachts and is home to some of the biggest yachts of Greek owners. Constructed to provide the mooring needs of yachts up to 130cm, the harbour include facilities such as tender pilot mooring assistance, heliport, power supply 220/380 V, 16 to 400 Amps, port police and surveillance on-site, high-speed portable internet, waste removal, potable water supply and storage areas. 

Athens Marina is easily accessible due to its connection to the motorway and the provision of a car park. It is located just 7km away from the city center, 40km from Athens International Airport, and next to modern Athens’s first city, Piraeus.

Marina Zeas, Piraeus 

The port of Marina Zeas is the first to have ever been built in Athens and through the centuries has played a significant role in history. It has been the Greek Naval Base for centuries and the Greek Naval Museum is situated in the marina. The marina has undergone modern reconstructions to cater to all the needs of super-yachts during the Olympic Games in 2004. The marina accommodates up to 670 yachts and offers all the essential facilities for smaller to larger yachts which include: 24/7 electricity and water supply, Electric power 220 / 380 V, 16-650 Amps, phone and internet connection, Waste Disposal/Sewage vacuum station, Car parking, security services, local police station, WC/shower/laundry. Marina Zeas is also a popular attraction for locals, offering an abundance of restaurants and bars, convenient shops, and a swimming pool. At a short distance from the marina, you will find shopping centers, cinemas, and supermarkets.
